(L) The 24 July 1901 wedding photo of William Martin and Christine Anna
Toellner Rowe, at the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lone Elm. He had been
born on 11 June 1873 in Clarks Fork and she on 26 August 1879 in Lone Elm,
where they were to live after their wedding before they moved to Boonville
on 04 July 1909.
Both of Christine's parents, Christopher Toellner and Anna Louise Timm,
were immigrants from Germany. William Rowe's father, Johann David Rau, had
also immigrated from Germany, but his wife, Rebekah Ann Goodman, had been
born in Wooldridge. After having been one of the founders of the German
Evangelical Church in Boonville, Rau later moved to Clarks Fork and was
also one of the founders of the Clarks Fork (German) Trinity Lutheran
Church.
